Tapiwa Mugabe is a writer and author born in Zimbabwe and based in the UK. Zimbabwe is the first collection of poetry from writer Tapiwa Mugabe. This collection introduces a fresh and bold voice into the rich current that is emerging from young African millennial artists.
In addition to publishing Zimbabwe, Tapiwa has also written for Fenton and Co in Notes on Love: essays on life, love, and loss. Made up of over 40 essays, articles and anecdotes, the book seeks to challenge, empower and highlight stories of love which do not ‘conform’, with 100% of the profits from the sale of the book being donated to charity.
Tapiwa has also been commissioned by various institutes including the British Museum to read and write poetry. In addition Tapiwa is also Kade Magazine's editor.
Green, a little book for a small prayer is Tapiwa Mugabe's next release scheduled for publication in November 2021.
